Talk about inflation.
Today at Boyes, Blue spot 10 pce knife blade set, price on the shelf was £1.65, by the time I got to the till to pay after waiting in line. The price had shoot up £1.75, I have heard of inflation.
How many more products are in store, priced wrong and misleading customers.
After pointing the price out on the shelf and the member of staff then went and checked, the price came down to £1.65 as on the shelf.

Not sure why they push leaflets through my door advertising stuff at one price then when you get to the store it's nothing like it. Example, garden shears, £12,99 in the store £19.

We visited the Mablethorpe branch yesterday. The staff were very welcoming pleasant & helpful making for a superb shopping experience.

Rude, ignorant older female staff member in Louth store
I visited the Louth store at 5 pm on 23/12/2021 (store closes at 5.30 pm). I headed straight to the craft floor where the rude female staff member saw me looking at needles and immediately turned the display lights out. It was clearly her home time. She then yelled at me to go downstairs and pay as the till upstairs was closed. Unfortunately, I don't respond to being yelled at, so I don't feel the staff member deserved any of my attention. I continued to browse in semi darkness for the size I required and then went downstairs to pay. There are ways and means of conveying a message to customers but this ignorant person doesn't seem to have general intelligence or wit to demonstrate any customer skills. I did complain to the manager who agreed the service was poor and that she would speak to the female the following day. However, I gave 3 stars because the lady on the till, who did serve me, was very polite. Staff training needed!

Very helpful on till and door
Very helpful on till. Packed 2 bags of xmas shopping for me. Security man opened door for me to go out. Had some returns the next day and same great service. It's the little things like this that add to a good shopping experience.

I visited Retford branch on Saturday 27th November. I have never experienced such bad customer service. The shop floor assistant snatched an item which I wss purchasing from my hand & spoke to me dreadfully. Hence I left the my items & walked out. They definitely need to do some staff customer service training. I won't be returning.

noticed men's jeans had gone up in price in matter of weeks by £2 a pair!! i would like to know the reason why they have gone up all of a sudden! very disappointing!! awaitng to here your reply!! thanks

Very rude staff in COALVILLE
Recently have received appalling service at Boyes in COALVILLE. On two separate occasions when making purchases at the till point the staff have continued personal conversations and virtually ignored me. I consider this to be absolutely ignorant and very bad manners. Am going to have to stop shopping there. I feel sad about the state of retail but having this experience I am not really surprised that people are choosing to shop online.
